A Tough One

When the team you're covering for the local paper loses 34-0, putting up 4 yards more than the opposing team's second string running back, you know that the game isn't probably going to be your best photographic outing. Going through my take two or three times has provided a lot of opportunities for me to think about not where the Missouri Tigers went wrong but where I let a tough game shooting get the best of me. When your team goes 0-7 on third downs you can't play safe and when the few big plays happen, it's tough to be on the opposite side of the end zone each time. At last, you really need to find the images that say "losing" and not "fighting hard".

I've never covered a college team in my short career that has suffered a blow-out loss and this won't be my last time, so just like the Tigers I'm going to take my lumps and remember what to do the next time.
